As far as I could tell, no - unless you specify when you're signing-up. However, each time you sign-up for a new network within Ning.com, you will be prompted to give your birthday - and you can manage your birthday showing-up on that particular network through your 'page' on that network. I do have a 'question' in with Ning.com to see if there's another way to manage birthdays on our main profiles. Thanks for the question!
